Food Guide Pyramid for Young Children

MyPyramid for Kids, which was released by the USDA in 2005, replaced the Food Guide Pyramid for Young Children.

The original Food Guide Pyramid for Young Children, like MyPyramid for Kids, was a widely recognized nutrition education tool that translated nutritional recommendations into the kinds and amounts of food to eat each day.

Several Food Guide Pyramid for Young Children publications are provided here for historical reference. The information and guidance they contain is no longer current. (All files are PDFs unless otherwise noted.)

More Pyramids can be found at USDA Food and Nutrition Information Center.
