 CNPP Internships

Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and official transcript to be considered for the CNPP Internship Program.



Cover Letter

Your cover letter must include the following:

1) A description of your degree/major and the specific areas of CNPP in which you are interested in working;

2) Your preferred start and end date;

3) The number of days and hours per week you are available to work;

4) Acknowledgement that you are willing to work in a voluntary, unpaid status;

5) The contact information for the faculty/staff at the educational institution; and

6) Information on how to contact you.


Official Transcript

"Official" transcripts are available (usually for free) from your school's Registrar. Contact that office and have the transcript sent directly to CNPP at the address below. Allow sufficient time for your transcript to be received by CNPP. A photocopy of a recent transcript can be sent as a temporary placeholder until the official transcript arrives at the CNPP office.


Submitting Your Application

You may submit your cover letter and resume via email or US mail to the address below. (Again, your official transcript must come directly from your school's Registrar.)

Only complete applications will be considered. Applications submitted via email will receive an auto-generated notice of receipt. Applications received by US mail will not be notified of receipt.

Interviews will be conducted by phone approximately 2 weeks after the application deadline. Only those interns under consideration for placement will be interviewed. Placement decisions will be made 6-8 weeks prior to the proposed start date.


Application Deadlines

Applications may be submitted at any time. However, in order to be considered for an internship during a specific semester, complete applications must be received not later than the times listed below. At that time, interns accepted into the program will need to submit a completed National Service Volunteer Student
